Department of Urban Development, GoUP along with State Urban Development Agency (SUDA) have formulated a vision for coordinated and effective implementation of reforms in the urban sector with special focus on the municipal and informal sector. IPE has been engaged as Escort Consultant to provide handholding and backup support to the Urban Development Department and SUDA and escorting it to the visualized destination. IPE will act as a secretariat to the Department of Urban Development and SUDA.

•  Formulated a concept plan for reform proposals in the urban sector, particularly municipal and informal sector; and provided capacity building support to the urban managers;

•  Prepared terms of reference, request for proposal, pre-qualification documents, draft MOU's and assisting in selection of consultants, contractors etc. for various new projects taken up by the authority;

•  Provided Project Management Support to SUDA in the related projects/ schemes, oversee implementation in all stages and over all quality control.

•  Handled all activities pertaining to liaisoning with bilateral and multilateral funding agencies;

•  Augmented the knowledge base of the organisation and disseminated information on the best practices in the Urban Sector;
