• The project recommended £ 94 million grant by the DFID to GoWB Programme;
• The project also provided a mechanism for registering Public Grievances and their redressal and improved the interface between the municipality and its citizens, through a Citizens' Charter for redressing grievances;
• Rating systems were developed to recognise excellence in redressing the issues faced and to further develop award schemes;
• Other tasks included policy analysis and formulation, programme formulation and administration, legal and regulatory policy analysis, analysis of financial performance, internal controls and policy approaches of over 40 ULBs. |
