She is presently working as an associate principal in the organisation. She is a social development expert with over 8 years of experience. She has been involved in providing recommendations for institutional strengthening with a thrust of developing institutional framework for poverty alleviation. In most of her assignments she has attempted to integrate economics, planning and community participation as the approach towards poverty alleviation and improvement in community health. Some of her key assignments include; Kolkatta Environment Improvement project, West Bengal, as head of Social Development Unit; Team Leader, West Bengal Corridor Development Project, Social Analysis and Preparation of Resettlement Plan, ADB; Community/Social and Gender Development Expert, Karnataka Urban Infrastructure Development Project, ADB. She has worked extensively in the states of Gujarat, Orissa, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, North East states and West Bengal.
