• Undertook identification, inventory recording, analysis and database management of Municipal Properties/Land
• Developed a GIS and undertook Land Mapping with a view to enhance tax collection and revenues by widening the tax-net and strengthening the surveillance mechanism
• Mobilised resource through Existing Passive Assets Owned by the Municipal Corporation/at Zero Cost to the Government and suggested ways for and overall expenditure reduction
• Conducted census survey of the properties for the identification and valuation of all permanent assets of Nigam
• Conducted Citizen Survey and public relation campaigns in order to understand the concerns and demands of local residents with reference to civic amenities provided by Nigam, to them.
• Undertook a comprehensive awareness and participation programme for the successful implementation and quality work done under GAPSP
• Advised ways for revenue generation, budgetary control, reforms. Also suggested the client to switch to a double entry accounting system that will simplify the processes and hence enhance their efficiency. |
